With hearts filled with love, joy, and hope, the students, faculty members, and staff of Isabela State University (ISU) San Mariano Campus gathered to celebrate the University’s Simultaneous Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 4, 2025.
Anchored on the theme, “Paskong Pinoy na may Pag-ibig, Ligaya, at Pag-asa: Sa ISU, Tayo ay Isang Pamilya,” the event marked the official opening of the Yuletide season across the University and served as a meaningful reminder of unity, compassion, and shared aspirations within the ISU community.
The ceremony brought together members of the campus community in an atmosphere of warmth and festivity as they witnessed the lighting of the Christmas tree and holiday decorations. The illuminated centerpiece symbolized hope, gratitude, and the enduring spirit of togetherness that defines the ISU family.
As the campus grounds came alive with dazzling lights and festive decorations, participants shared moments of fellowship and celebration, reflecting on the blessings and accomplishments of the year while looking forward to the opportunities and challenges ahead.
More than a ceremonial activity, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony underscored the University’s commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where students and personnel feel valued and connected. The event likewise highlighted the Filipino values of love, generosity, resilience, and community spirit that are especially meaningful during the Christmas season.
Through this annual tradition, ISU San Mariano Campus continues to strengthen the bonds among its stakeholders while embracing the true essence of Christmas—spreading love, joy, and hope to all.
