To further strengthen its commitment to quality education and effective public service, Isabela State University–San Mariano Campus (ISU-SMrC) commenced its ISO Re-Certification 9001:2015 Audit on May 6-7, 2025, at the Campus Hostel.
The activity aims to assess the compliance, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the campus’ Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
In her opening message, Campus Administrator Prof. Ruby B. Dimas, PhD, emphasized that ISO certification reflects the institution’s dedication to quality and continuous improvement in delivering its services.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kristopher Lopez, Director for Academic Affairs, highlighted that the audit serves as a mechanism for evaluating the campus’ adherence to quality management standards and ensuring efficient service delivery.
“We make ISO 9001:2015 our standard in the delivery of quality public service through effective management systems, continuous improvement, and adherence to international standards,” he stated.
University Deputy Quality Management Representative Mr. Joseph L. Asuncion underscored that the re-certification audit goes beyond compliance, reflecting the University’s commitment to integrity, transparency, accountability, and excellence.
Likewise, Prof. Dr. Marinel Palattao Dayawon, University Director for Instruction, encouraged participants to remain committed to quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Serving as lead auditor was Ms. Gemachita M. Telan of W3 Solution PH, who facilitated the audit process and assessment activities.
Through this undertaking, ISU-San Mariano continues to uphold quality assurance practices and strengthen its pursuit of institutional excellence in education and public service.
