Isabela State University–San Mariano Campus recognized its March 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) passers during a recognition ceremony held on June 13 at the Agri-Educ Quadrangle.

Carrying the theme, “Nakalayo nang Muli: Stories of Advancing Up the Success Ladder,” the event celebrated the achievements, perseverance, and dedication of the newly licensed professional teachers who completed one of the most significant milestones in their academic and professional journey.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Jaypee Zipagan, Chairperson of the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) Program, highlighted the importance of the occasion, describing the recognition as a tribute to the hard work and commitment demonstrated by the passers throughout their years of preparation.

He also reminded the new educators that they now carry the responsibility of imparting knowledge with competence, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose.

Meanwhile, Dr. Aisie O. Bete-Liban, Director for Academic Affairs, emphasized that obtaining a professional license is a testament to the graduates’ perseverance and determination. She noted that the sacrifices, challenges, and efforts invested during their academic journey had finally yielded success.

Campus Administrator Prof. Dr. Drolly P. Claravall likewise commended the passers for their accomplishment and passion for the teaching profession.

“You passed because you have that passion in your heart to touch lives and the passion to transform lives,” she said.

She further encouraged the newly licensed teachers to continue pursuing excellence and remain steadfast in their mission to inspire and empower future generations.

Serving as Guest of Honor, Mr. Eddie Paul Velasco delivered an inspirational message, emphasizing the vital role of teachers in shaping minds and influencing the future of society.

The recognition ceremony was attended by campus officials, faculty members, Bachelor of Secondary Education students, and parents who joined in celebrating the success of the University’s newest licensed professional teachers.

The event reaffirmed ISU–San Mariano’s commitment to producing competent, dedicated, and values-driven educators who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to the field of education.
