“Graduation is not the end but the beginning of a new chapter. As you embark on this journey, you hold the power and privilege not just for your own future but also for our collective destiny in the province.”

This was the statement of Hon. Rodito T. Albano III, Provincial Governor of Isabela, duly represented by Ms. Elizabeth C. Binag, Head Executive Assistant and Provincial Information Officer, during this year’s Commencement Exercises of Isabela State University-San Mariano Campus, held earlier today, July 29, at Zone 01, Community Center.

“Remember that I, your governor, together with the officials, am rooting for you, believing in your potential and eagerly anticipating the impact you will make in your community,” Binag continued as she underscored Governor Albano’s congratulatory message.

Meanwhile, through an audio-visual presentation, Dr. J. Prospero E. De Vera III, Chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), underscored that the agency assures that every student will have the opportunity to undergo tertiary education.

“Sisiguraduhin ng CHED na mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang bawat Pilipinong mag-aaral na mangarap at makapagtapos ng kanilang pag-aaral,” De Vera said.

Furthermore, in her speech, Ms. Rodelyn Pedroso, Cum Laude and a BSEd – English graduate, noted that the path to education is not easy, as there are various challenges to encounter. Additionally, she expressed her gratitude to her parents for their support in her success.

“Forgive your parents if they donโ€™t provide the comfortable life we hope for. Ang mga magulang natin ay may mga pangarap at mithiin sa buhay na hindi nila nakamtan, and they put their hope in us to continue and achieve our dreams,” Pedroso said as she expressed appreciation for all the parents of the graduates.

In addition, the event concluded with the exit of colors and a recessional, marking the end of the academic journey for the graduating class.
