The Agri-Educ Quadrangle of Isabela State University-San Mariano Campus was transformed into a vibrant dance floor on September 08, 2023, as students came together for an unforgettable Acquaintance Party filled with music, laughter, and retro vibes.
One of the highlights of the evening was the Retrodance Competition, where freshmen showcased their grooviest moves to the beats of classic tunes. The competition was fierce, but in the end, it was BSED 1 who boogied their way to victory, clinching the 1st place. Following closely behind were DAT 1A in 2nd place and DAT 1B in 3rd place, proving that talent and enthusiasm were in abundance among the new students.
Adding to the excitement was the much-anticipated Ms. Gay Competition, where contestants dazzled the audience with their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent. After a captivating display of performances, Dave Dinapit was crowned as the reigning Ms. Gay, stealing the spotlight with grace and flair. Raymond Sandoval claimed the title of 1st runner-up, while Florencio Cayari and Nelson Macarilay delighted as the 2nd and 3rd runners-up, respectively.
Events like the Acquaintance Party not only provide students with an opportunity to unwind and have fun but also foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie within the campus community. As students cheered on their peers and celebrated each other’s talents, they strengthened bonds and created cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
