As the curtains draw on this year’s Regional Higher Education Press Conference (RHEPC), The Greenfields proudly celebrates the achievements of its talented journalists. Brigette N. Sabado, Chief Photojournalist, clinched sixth place in Poetry Writing-Filipino, while Janus Dave B. Domingo, Editor-in-Chief, secured the eighth spot in News Writing-English.

In a heartfelt interview, Sabado expressed her gratitude to those who inspired and supported her journey. “I never expected this, so I am deeply thankful to everyone who believed in me, especially my parents who served as my inspiration for the poem I wrote. All glory to God,” she remarked.
Meanwhile, Domingo shared his appreciation for the opportunities provided by ISU-San Mariano, enabling them to wield their pens in the pursuit of journalism. “Being entrusted with this privilege and responsibility is a dream realized. Thank you for believing in us,” he expressed.
Additionally, Domingo was elected as one of the Isabela representatives for the Cagayan Valley Association of College Editors (CVACE), further showcasing The Greenfields’ commitment to journalistic excellence.
Congratulations to both on their outstanding achievements!
