The spirit of hospitality could be felt during the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) Week Celebration, initiated by the Institute of Hospitality Management at Isabela State University – San Mariano Campus. The event kicked off on, January 29, 2024, at the Agri-Educ Quadrangle, under the theme “Globally United: Celebrating BSHM Week,” this event is set to inspire and unite students and faculty members in their academic journey.
Dr. Kristopher R. Lopez, Campus Academic Affairs Director, emphasized the importance of practical application in learning and the pursuit of self-improvement through dedicated study.
Dr. Ruby Dimas, Campus Administrator, highlighted the significance of unity in fostering a better world, stressing the essential roles of cooperation and commitment in achieving shared goals.
Guest speakers, including Ms. Jenny B. Maximo, Owner of Tipsy Shaker Mobile Bar, and Mr. Owen Blair Pascual, Owner of Liquid Room Cafe and Mobile Bar, shared invaluable insights into the bartending industry. They emphasized the importance of continuous learning, skill-building, and dedication to excellence in this dynamic field.
The opening program culminated with captivating flairtending performances by the guest speakers, providing inspiration and practical insights into the art of flairtending.
The celebration continued on until January 30, 2024, with exciting activities including a booth competition and a socialization night, fostering camaraderie and creativity among participants
