Faculty members at ISU San Mariano recently participated in a dynamic two-day In-Service Training on September 05 and 06, 2023, hosted at the ISU San Mariano Hostel. The event aimed to enhance professional skills and foster a culture of continuous learning among educators.

Day 1 Highlights:

  • Dr. Benchie L. Maribao, the ETTEAP Section Chief, led an enlightening session on Open Learning and Academic Linkages. Faculty members gained valuable insights into innovative teaching methodologies and opportunities for academic collaboration.
  • Ms. Marlyn M. Bermoza, BSIS Program Chairperson, discussed the privileges available to students on ISU ORANGE, empowering them to make the most of their educational journey.
  • Dr. Kristopher R. Lopez, Director for Academic Affairs, conducted a workshop on Advanced Academic Writing, equipping faculty with essential skills for scholarly publication.
  • Dr. Evelyn B. Cristobal, Director for Extension and Training Services, provided valuable insights into Resource Generation for Extension Programs, emphasizing the importance of securing resources to support community engagement initiatives.

Day 2 Highlights:

  • Dr. Kristopher R. Lopez, Director for Academic Affairs, conducted a workshop on Advanced Academic Writing, equipping faculty with essential skills for scholarly publication.
