Isabela State University-San Mariano Campus now offers free WiFi access, thanks to the Free WiFi for All Program by the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT). Implemented on October 12, 2023, free WiFi sites were installed at key locations including the library, the Office of the Academic Affairs Director, and the BSEd office.

Mandated by the Republic Act 10929 or the Free Internet Access Places Act, this initiative aims to accelerate the government’s efforts to enhance internet accessibility for Filipinos. By setting up free WiFi sites in public places nationwide, the program seeks to bridge the digital divide and provide economic, social, and educational opportunities for all.

The Free WiFi for All Program targets various locations such as government offices, public hospitals, schools, universities, airports, seaports, and terminals. With these installations at ISU-San Mariano Campus, students and campus personnel will benefit greatly. Access to free WiFi will facilitate the completion of school requirements and ease financial burdens associated with subscribing to Telco products.
