The Peer Facilitators’ Association (PFA) at ISU-San Mariano Campus conducted its Annual Training Workshop on November 9, 2023 aimed at enhancing the skills and techniques of its officers and members in therapeutic sessions.
Ms. Roan B. Antonio, Campus Guidance Counselor and PFA Adviser, expressed her satisfaction with the event’s outcomes, noting the active participation of officers and members.
“We’re thrilled with the turnout and the success of the workshop. It achieved its goal of empowering our officers and members with enhanced skills in active listening, empathy, and healthy communication,” said Ms. Antonio.
Neña Mei Morales, PFA President, shared her personal growth from the training. “As the president of PFA, I’m delighted with the success of the program. Thanks to our adviser, Ma’am Roan Antonio, our officers and members, and Ma’am Margie Vinasoy. This event helped us develop leadership skills, communication abilities, and overall personal growth,” she stated.
Bernadeth Limbauan, PFA Public Information Officer, highlighted the practical value of the training. “The information and learnings we gained will be invaluable when providing support to others in need,” she emphasized.
The workshop aimed to deepen understanding of leadership skills and mental health awareness, aligning with SDG 3 for Good Health and Well-being.
