Success is often measured by accomplishments, but behind every achievement lies a story of perseverance, sacrifice, and unwavering determination. For the thirteen graduates of Isabela State University–San Mariano Campus (ISU-SMrC) who recently passed the 2025 Licensure Examination for Agriculturists (LEA), their journey to professional success was paved with countless challenges, sleepless nights, and steadfast faith.
To celebrate this remarkable milestone, ISU-SMrC held a Recognition Ceremony at the Agri-Educ Quadrangle on December 12, 2025, honoring the Bachelor of Agricultural Technology (BAT) graduates who successfully earned the title of Licensed Agriculturists. More than a celebration of passing an examination, the event became a tribute to resilience, hard work, and the values that define true success.
In her inspirational message, Campus Administrator Dr. Drolly P. Claravall reminded the passers that their achievement was not merely the result of chance but of years of commitment and sacrifice.
“Your success is not an accident; it is the fruit of your determination, sacrifice, and unwavering faith,” she emphasized.
Dr. Claravall encouraged the newly licensed professionals to carry with them the virtues that shaped their journey—humility, discipline, and a continuous willingness to learn. She stressed that genuine excellence stems from a deep passion for one’s work and that empathy must remain at the heart of their profession as they serve communities through agriculture.
Reflecting on the significance of the occasion, she shared a message that resonated deeply with the audience:
“This milestone is more than just a title or a license. It is a testament to every early morning you woke up, every late night you endured, every chapter you reviewed, and every tear you shed along the way. This is what blessing through sacrifice truly means.”
Her words served as a reminder that success is not solely defined by the destination but by the perseverance demonstrated throughout the journey.
The ceremony also provided an opportunity for the LEA passers to express their gratitude to the faculty members whose guidance, mentorship, and dedication helped shape their academic and professional growth. They acknowledged the unwavering support of the University, which nurtured their aspirations and provided an environment where learning and excellence could flourish.
Meanwhile, Dr. Julius C. Lagua, Chairperson of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) Program, challenged both the passers and future examinees to remain steadfast in their pursuit of success.
“Continue your dreams, reach for the top, and always remember that success requires commitment. For the upcoming LEA takers, you are now called to uphold the hard work and perseverance established by your seniors. Be prepared to face challenges with responsibility, determination, and courage,” he remarked.
As the ceremony concluded, it became evident that the recognition was not only about celebrating thirteen newly licensed agriculturists. It was also a reflection of the University’s enduring commitment to academic excellence and character formation. The success of these graduates stands as a testament to the quality of education, mentorship, and support fostered within the ISU-San Mariano community.
Their achievement serves as an inspiration to current and future students—a reminder that every sacrifice, no matter how difficult, eventually bears fruit. Through dedication, resilience, and faith, dreams become realities, and aspirations transform into accomplishments.
Indeed, the story of ISU-San Mariano’s newest Licensed Agriculturists is more than a story of passing an examination. It is a story of hope, perseverance, and the triumph of those who dared to pursue their goals despite the challenges along the way.
